Generally speaking, the transformer oil samples used for chromatographic analysis of water content, gas content and dissolved gas shall be taken with syringes, and the oil samples used for other detection tests can be taken with brown ground bottle.
Take the oil sample for water content and gas content test with syringe, mainly to isolate the air. The oil with low water content and gas content has extremely fast moisture absorption and suction speed. When sampling in the air or bottle, the measurement result will have a large error. That is to say, if the syringe is not well sealed or leaked due to excessive wear, the water content will increase by 4-10mg / kg and the air content will increase by about 1%. The purpose of chromatographic analysis of dissolved gas in oil with syringe is not only to isolate air, but also to prevent the loss of dissolved gas in oil and to facilitate degassing during test. If the degassing device has special requirements for the sampling container, it must be equipped with a special sampling container.
There are two advantages of sampling with brown ground bottle: first, it can block the light; second, it is relatively well sealed and easy to open. For general test items, the oil sample is invisible, which has little impact on the test results, but for the dielectric loss factor, the test results after the oil sample is visible are significantly different from those when it is invisible, and the test results are not accurate without sampling in brown bottle; that is to say, sampling in brown bottle is not suitable for long-term irradiation in strong light.
